The UTD is a UK based examination board that was founded in 1976 by 21 founding members.
The association is well established as an awarding body with its members teaching throughout the UK and internationally .
We offer Non-Regulated Examinations, medal tests & professional teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Street Dance, Freestyle and
We also offer GQAL Regulated Examinations & Teaching Qualifications in Ballet, Tap & Modern Jazz. *New for 2021*
We hold regular events to ensure our members meet the associations Continued Professional Development requirements including an annual open day and AGM.
We welcome those with teaching qualifications from other awarding bodies to join and experience the benefits of being a UTD Member. Teacher Training is available for those who meet the requirements
of our professional teaching examinations.
